Another Kind of Christian:
Seeking Hope and Solidarity in These Troubled Times
Thursdays , 7-8:30 pm
May 22 & 29, June 5, 12, & 19 (5 sessions)
Via Zoom
If you ever describe yourself as “spiritual but not religious,” a NONE or DONE with organized religion
If you are disillusioned, broken-hearted, angry or tired with the church or Christianity you’ve witnessed, or have long sought out spiritual nourishment elsewhere . . .
If you have been confused and enraged wtih the seeming capitulation of “Christians” to this cruel, anti-life, anti-Love administration and agenda . . .
If you still long for an authentic way to believe in God, and follow in the way of the prophets, including Jesus . . .
You are invited to participate in this year’s Another Kind of Christian small group, an exploration in how to re-engage our Christian faith and re-imagine the world in fresh, and life-giving ways. Through the sharing of our own stories and struggles, reading and dialoguing with Father Richard Rohr’s newest book The Tears of Things: Prophetic Wisdom for an Age of Outrage and communal practices of prayer and activism, we'll seek what it means to be another kind of Christian.
Come join in this sacred and hope-filled conversation and community!
